MLB returns to five.tv

It is my pleasure to confirm that five.tv have signed a deal to show Major League Baseball in the United Kingdom for the 2005 season. Johnny Gould will return to front the programme and is expected to be joined by Dave Lengel for the start of the season.

As usual they will show ESPN's national game live on Sunday nights along with a game from Wednesday night, again from ESPN. They will start with the anticipated match-up of Randy Johnson and David Wells from the stadium as the New York Yankees host the Boston Red Sox on April 3/4 (8:05 EST/1:05 GMT).
